Do they sell Dragon Ball Ice Cream here??
Delicious. Please go
The ice cream here is great, but very expensive!
A great little spot. My son can't get enough! Reasonable prices, good people, yummy ice cream!
MoreI like the ice cream and Staff so I thought of writing a suggestion: (SMALLER PORTIONS FOR KIDS AT A CHEAPER RATE IT'S NO POINT HAVING TO DISPOSE OF ICE CREAM THAT CAN BE SOLD)just saying...,then I read the answers to criticism by, management /owner, I was appalled. You must respect the reviews given as this is the basis on which smart people grow their business, instead of the Negative, sarcastic and rude responses,it's ok to be proud of your product but you never know who's visiting you from 266 miles just to be sure, And also Before responding,I suggest that you think before responding,as the right reviews can MAKE OR BREAK YOU...Tread Carefully!
MoreLoved the cotton candy ice cream! It’s very good
The blueberry cobbler ice cream tastes like fresh blueberries. It's the best thing I've eaten here.
MoreFun place , moderately expensive, clean with cute cows on the wall.
Ice cream was okay. Not worth the money it cost. 2 double scoops in a waffle cone. Costs $22.95. Way too expensive. First visit and will be my last. Only good thing was the customer service. Very friendly and helpful.
MoreIt’s okay, to pricey
This is the year 2020. Someone tell Scoops people use something called credit cards. All businesses accept them... except Scoops. I don’t carry cash or checks. Few people do. As a small business owner, I know you hate the 2.5% fee Visa and MasterCard charge you to accept credit cards, but you are losing more business revenue than that 2.5% by inconveniencing potential customers. Not to mention it’s too tempting as a cash-only business to “misreport” sales when paying your monthly sales tax to the state.
MoreMeh long line pricy and ice cream is just okay ice cream.
The ice cream is really great! Three of us got just one scoop in the regular size cup and we could barely finish it! The choco suicide is delish! The young man behind the counter was friendly and helpful, too!
MoreThis place is AMAZING!! Very expensive for ice cream but so worth it if you love great quality ice cream! I live an hour away and would drive to get some.
MoreIt crazy that in 2019 we can't pay with a debit/credit card at this place. In addition to the pricey ice cream (which is just "good"), we have to pay a fee at the ATM to get cash to pay. They do also take checks. My family used to love Scoops but there are better ice cream joints in Hot Springs now that will accept a debit/credit.
MoreWe usually go here when we are in Hot Springs but never again. Ice cream is fair and way over priced. But the main reason I will never return is they must support a cashless society. Due to COVID19, they will only take cash if they keep your change. BUT, they don't have a problem touching my credit card and then handing it back to me. The ice cream is high enough without them ripping me off by keeping my change. Blue Bell is better anyway.
MoreLove the ice cream but pricey.
Was a great experience, loved my special fixed almond and chocolate waffle cone.
MoreThis place is one of the best ice cream shop I’ve ever been too. I got the raspberry flavor it was so yumyum.
MoreA bit pricey but Very Delicious ice-cream! Service/attention could be better but overall happy tummy!
MoreHorrible, super expensive, and rude customer servixe
Amazing ice cream made there in the shop! Enjoy a couple scoops in a waffle cone! ... chocolate suicide is my favorite flavor!
MoreIce cream was great. Employee was nice and interacted with my son. Only problem is that it costs $3 to use my debit card there. They have an ATM. Cash or check only at the register.
MoreIce cream was fantastic! They take Covid-19 seriously and I was very impressed.
Thoroughly enjoyed the quaint ice creamery. Staff was friendly and the ice cream was wonderful. Price was fair. A must as a small family break for desert. They have a a wide range of choices with many unique flavors.
MoreWe were told “we don’t serve people with allergies”That is pure discrimination. Won’t ever go back .
MoreAwesome ice cream. And the black woman that works there was extremely Pleasant. She had a great personality to be dealing with the public. Very friendly.
MoreIf I could give negative stars I would! I do not recommend this place. Staff was rude. Price was high for sub-par ice cream. Then to top it off, no change given back or an extra charge for credit card transactions. 🤬 As a small business owner, I know for a fact that you get to write off all credit card fee on your taxes. There is no reason for this charge. What a scheme! I will not be back. I’d rather take make chances with a poorly cleaned ice cream machine from McDonald’s!!
MoreLove love love Scoops! All ice cream is made in site. It may seem a bit pricey, but once you taste it, you know it's worth every penny! I had the cheesecake and blueberry muffin, a scoop of each. OMG! Taste explosion on my tongue!
MoreExtremely rude staff! I had really been looking forward to trying this place, but I wouldn't go here again if it was the last ice cream spot on the planet, and that really says a lot because I LOVE ice cream! Their ice cream is wayyy over priced ($35 for 5 scoops in cups), and it was very mediocre, at that. I truly hope Covid tanks their business, after how rude they were.
MoreWay over priced. This is the kids scoop! Pretty sure you can't upcharge for the credit card payment without offering a cash discount, but not accept cash. Going to report this to the BBB. I just read another review on this place from two weeks ago and they did not even take credit cards then. What's the game here? Cant blame this on the pandemic!
MoreI’ve tried all the ice-cream shops in hot springs, and I’ll be honest I feel like it’s hyped up too much. It is made in store, which is cool, but you definitely pay for it. It isn’t bad ice-cream. It does taste good. But you get such a small portion for a big price. I typically choose to go somewhere else where I can more bang for my buck. Overall 3 stars for price and portion size.
MoreIncredible ice cream shop with an abundance of flavors! I couldn't decide but I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong. This is the ideal small town ice cream shop. I would be eating here all the time if I lived here!
MoreFriendly service. EXCELLENT ice cream! A bit on the pricey side but the amount of ice cream you get is very generous. The employees gladly offer free samples before you commit to a flavor. Big selection. Plenty of seating inside.
MoreLove coming here for ice cream. The Covid has really made people angry with any restaurant that has rules. This business has always done so great, and my family and I will always return! Thank you for taking safe precautions.
MoreThe Ice Cream Was Real Good. And Most Of The Staff Was Great Except For One Chick. I Asked If They Had Maybe A Thing To Hold Ice Cream Cones. She Said ''No But Sonic Does!'' Like Uh Okay I'll Go There Then. That Chick Is Gonna Lose Y'all Buisness.
MoreGot to go place for ice cream. But get their early as they only make a certain amount of ice cream. It’s so good!!!
MoreAwsome homemade ice cream
The ice cream is awesome although way overpriced! Also, the modest service fee they charge if you use your debit card is ridiculous!
MoreIce cream was good. Very expensive. 2 cones with 2 scoops over $20. Not that good.
MoreThis place was top notch. Ice cream was out of this world good. Cute little place. Service outstanding.
MoreScoops Ice Cream has the tastiest ice cream in the mid-south. They make it on premises! They don't use cheap ingredients either. Every taste is fresh and creamy goodness! But hey don't take the word of this aficionado...go try it for yourself and never have to search for another ice cream shop again!
MoreGreat service. Superb salted caramel ice cream.
Pretty good ice cream. We got there 10 minutes before it closes and the nice employee octavious stayed and served us ice cream anyways. I know he was cleaning up and he was really ready to leave when we got in but he stayed and served us.
MoreGreat ice cream! They take Covid-19 seriously and we greatly appreciate that!
Amazing ice cream the best ice cream I have ever had
Not at all impressed. When we went in we expected this place to be jammin' since it was a hot day and who doesn't love ice cream?! Except, the place was dead. So dead that there was no one even up front to greet us. After a couple minutes of standing there, an annoyed looking fellow begrudging came out of the back (we must have interrupted him from mindlessly staring at Tik Tok I'm assuming). My spouse and I each order one scoop in a waffle cone and that's literally what we got. Most ice cream places pack the cone and put one scoop on top; they don't leave the cone hollow and literally give you one scoop. Scoops does though. Then it comes time to pay: $14 for two ice cream cones!! Are you kidding me?! For literally two scoops of ice cream? I expected it to be mind blowing, flavor filled ice cream; instead, it was flavorless. Of all the places going out of business in 2020, I expect this to be next on the list. Definitely would not recommend.
MoreWayyyyyy too expensive! Not only that, they were very short and rude about the rules that were given due to COVID. I don’t mind abiding but don’t be rude about it!
MoreAlways a must-visit when in Hot Springs! :) Delicious, super-creamy ice cream in several yummy flavors. My top favorite is the strawberry cheesecake. Always a hit for us. Definitely a recommendation for people visiting Hot Springs.
MoreVery pricey but the ice cream was great. The service is 5 star.
Came to Hot Springs from Dallas on a weekend trip. Wanted some ice cream and stopped here. Terrible experience. In fact we waited in line for 15 mins and the ended up leaving. Staff is rude and not helpful. Really taking advantage of things during the COVID-19 situation. They will not give you change or bills in change if you use cash. Credit card minimum is $50. There is signage when you check out but there needs to be ample signage on the door and in the front window/storefront. That way customers know what they are getting into. Workers are not wearing gloves and literally were touching ice cream as they scooped it. No hand washing is happening either between servicing customers and handling payment. In the process of filing a complaint with the Arkansas Dept of Health. Will be filing with the BBB as well. Beyond disgusted on so many levels with this place.
